The temporary Eruv is down.
The boards along Seward Park Avenue were removed. We hope to repair this section along Seward Park Avenue during the week of November 26.
On this Wednesday, November 21, Seattle City Light removed all the boards along Seward Park Avenue. These boards were essential to the functioning of our temporary Eruv.
Here is what we are doing now.
Rabbi Paretzky is scheduled to come to Seattle for a few days during the week of November 26 to install the Eruv along Seward Park Avenue. This will restore the Eruv to a temporary use status.
Rabbi Paretzky will come back for two weeks in December to work on other parts of the Eruv.
We will continue to work with Rabbi Paretzky to get the permanent Eruv up as quick as possible.
We are very grateful that we just had such a successful fundraiser and have the capability to do what is needed to restore the Eruv.
